Dr. Irvin Lewin
Dr. Lewin specializes in diabetic care, foot and ankle orthopedics and general podiatric medicine.
Dr. Lewin has been practicing in Reading, a Cincinnati Ohio suburb for 22 years. A native of Detroit, MI, Dr. Lewin graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland. He is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedic and Primary Podiatric medicine.
Dr. Lewin is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Lewin, his wife Peg and their Australian Shepherd dog Annie truly enjoy their adopted Cincinnati home. "My goal is to have my office environment reflect the warm, friendly culture of our community." After work interests include volunteer work for national charities and local non-profit organizations. Dr. Lewin is a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and strongly supports their mission to develop better treatments and ultimately find a cure for this devastating disease.
Dr. Lewin's contributions to JDRF are further strengthened by his interest in recreational bicycling. He regularly participates in the JDRF hosted "Ride for a Cure". These challenging 100 mile bicycle rides are fundraising events that generate millions of dollars annually for diabetes research.
Dr. Lewin is also active on the Cincinnati Cycling Club (CCC) Board of Directors. In this capacity, he leads weekly rides, promotes safe cycling and fitness and assists in supporting local, state and national bicycle advocacy issues.
